Goslings, hatched,lost and found

Now you see me , now you don’t. Five Goslings hatched two weeks ago here at Oakmead on the island in the middle of the top lake nearest the holiday cottage. This was a delight to our guests Pam and Andy staying at our cottage: Acorn Retreat. The goslings were seen from the Birdhide for two days then not seen again until today over a week later. They appeared again with proud parents on the lake looking  healthy, fluffy and more plump.  But where have they been hiding ?

An Exmoor fox has been seen in the Brayford fields having visited a neighbor’s chicken coop we hoped for the best but hope was waning until today.   Lovely to see them swimming on the lake again –
