Best of Baggy Point

Great easy walk today and highly recommended for our guests. Just 30 min drive from Acorn Retreat. This can be as short or as long as you like. But it’s easy all the way. We put up with the typical April weather: sunshine and showers and well worth it for the expansive and exhilarating views over Croyde Bay and if you want to round the Point to the eastern side you will get a panoramic vista of Woolacombe Bay and in a clear moment we could see Lundy Island across the Atlantic. For the intrepid carry on and complete the Baggy Point circuit which is 10 miles total. Hope this photo inspires. Also dog friendly.

Free parking for NT members and good choice of food at the Oyster Catcher cafe owned by NT but run privately. Sit in the veggie Garden  which also has a super little arty gift shop cum outlet for local artists.
